ROM EcoNomic

The EcoNomic is equipped as standard with a pivoting hydraulically-driven high-pressure reel. The benefits: 180° range so you can work at right angles to the vehicle (left and right). The reel extends far beyond the door opening of the vehicle but can also be used without having to swing it out. The reel is equipped with a hinged hose entry guide and a rotating control panel.

In addition to the pivoting hydraulically-driven high-pressure reel the EcoNomic is equipped with iROM controller, including daylight display and waterproof touch-key controls (IP65) as standard. The intelligent control system communicates interactively via canbus technology with a real-time functional display (hour and rev counter, etc.) and automatic service-interval indicator.

The ROM EcoNomic is suitable for unblocking and cleaning domestic connections and main sewer systems up to max. Ø600 mm. The EcoNomic is suitable for being built into light to medium-duty commercial vehicles such as the Toyota PROACE, Mercedes-Benz Vito/Sprinter, Volkswagen Transporter/Crafter, Renault Traffic/Master, Opel Vivaro/Movano, Ford Transit/Custom and Iveco Daily.
Thanks to the compact design and low unladen weight, you can carry large quantities of water and retain more storage space.

    ROM Vac 1750 – ADR

    Using the ROM VAC 1750 – ADR vacuum unit, you can vacuum and transport liquid substances and sludge. With the addition of ADR, the machine is also suitable for hazardous substances, such as combustible substances and oils. The compact design is ideal for places that are difficult to reach, such as tight driveways and oil purifications.     Multifunctional

    Conforming to ADR guidelines​
    The unit is built in accordance with European ADR guidelines and CE mark.

    Safe working​
    The installation has various safety features to prevent over and under pressure situations occurring. This prevents the double-ball safety valve from overflowing. The unit is also supplied with 3 x 10 Ω suction hoses (3”) for the discharge of static electricity. In addition, optimal weight distribution ensures safe and stable driving. Roll bars protect the unit in the event of an accident.

    Extremely compact and manoeuvrable​
    The compact installation fits on smaller vehicles with a shorter turning circle. You benefit from maximum manoeuvrability, making it ideal for places that are difficult to reach, including tight driveways and city centres.

    Smart investment​
    The compact machine is suitable for mounting on a “lightweight” chassis so only a modest investment is required. In addition, the compact and lightweight combination provides you with considerable fuel savings every day. And last but not least, the machine is extremely suitable for smaller (emergency) jobs. Cleaning a compact vacuum tank takes less time than with larger ADR vehicles. In addition to saving time, you also produce less cleaning waste that you will have to pay for when unloading.

    Powerful water ring vacuum pump​
    The Samson water ring vacuum pump is spark-free and ensures maximum suction power. The pump is very powerful, quiet and environmentally friendly. In addition, the water ring pump guarantees extra-long service life and high operational reliability, even under the heaviest operating conditions.

    Well-equipped as standard​
    The ADR unit comes equipped with many conveniences as standard, including spacious tool and hose boxes. Furthermore, the unit is sprayed in your desired (company) colour as standard. In addition to the very extensive basic version, you have a wide choice of options, including SIR certification, high-pressure installation (100 bar – 15 l/min) and a rotating beacon lamp. You can also have the rear cover open and close automatically as an option, via two additional open/close actuators.

    ROM SmartCombi

    The ROM SmartCombi has been specially designed for suction and spraying activities, such as unblocking/cleaning domestic connections and municipal sewers up to Ø600 mm and emptying grease traps and flooded basements.

    The combined high-pressure and vacuum pick-up unit can easily be mounted on a chassis (from 3.5 tonnes), a tandem trailer or on a flat bed truck. The durable design is very compact and manoeuvrable, and therefore extremely suitable for use in busy city centres and parking garages. The unit is very compact and lightweight, allowing you to drive the vehicle with driving license B (depending on the total weight of the vehicle and load). .

    Various specifications
    The SmartCombi is equipped with an efficient low-noise Kubota diesel engine and a Speck high-pressure pump. The vacuum system can be equipped with a unique thrust jetter or vacuum pump with a maximum cleaning pressure of 200 bar and a maximum water capacity of 75 l/min.     ROM SmartCombi Pro

    The ROM SmartCombi PRO combines a high-pressure and vacuum unit and has a maximum cleaning pressure of 200 bar and a water capacity of 100 l/min. With a 3,000-litre tank (or optionally 4,000 litres), the SmartCombi PRO is ideal for unblocking/cleaning domestic connections and sewers up to Ø600 mm and the emptying of grease traps and flooded basements. The sewer combi is available in both PTO and diesel or industrial petrol versions.

    270˚ rotating hydraulically-driven high-pressure reel
    The sewer combi has a 270˚ rotatable hydraulically-driven high-pressure reel with hose entry guide and rotating control panel. This high-pressure reel extends far beyond the vehicle so you can put it in the right place in no time. You can even place the reel perpendicular to the vehicle. Turning and manoeuvring the vehicle to get the reel in the ideal place is no longer necessary.

    Advanced 270° rotating suction arm including remote control
    Using the rotating suction arm that can be rotated through 270°, you can work effortlessly at the front and rear of the vehicle. Ideal for emptying, for example, cesspits, septic tanks and grease traps. Thanks to the compact vehicle and the automatically-collapsible suction arm, even the most difficult places are accessible, such as narrow streets and shopping centres. The suction arm is easy to operate with the supplied ROM JetVac remote control which has 2 joysticks. The swivelling and lifting of the suction arm is hydraulically controlled.

    Vacuum system: three powerful choices
    The vacuum system can be equipped with a conventional air-cooled vacuum pump (6,150 l/min), a unique thrust jetter (max. 7,500 l/min) or an extra-powerful water ring vacuum pump (8,330 l/min | 500 m3 per hour).

    Some of the advantages of our advanced thrust jetter compared to the air-cooled vacuum pump are increased reliability and environmental friendliness, a lower noise level and a lower investment.
    If you want maximum suction power, choose the environmentally-friendly water ring pump. This is more powerful, quieter and very easy to maintain. In addition, the water ring pump guarantees extra-long service life and high operational reliability (even under the heaviest operating conditions). And you can also suck and spray at the same time.
    Do you want to be able to suck and spray at the same time? Then choose the version with vacuum pump.
    Select clean/dirty water distribution
    The tilting system has the additional advantage that you can choose the distribution of clean and dirty water. You can choose from a tank capacity of 3,000 or optionally 4,000 litres.

    When you have finished vacuuming, you can effortlessly open the vacuum tank automatically at the touch of a button. And to make it even easier, you can quickly and easily empty the tank with the high-pressure spray boom in the vacuum tank.
