Description

Electromechanical drain cleaning is a proven method of cleaning hard deposits, roots and rehabilitating pipe lines for CIPP repairs. It requires no water supply and can be used in situations where conventional High Pressure Water Jetting techniques are restricted or unadvisable.

Electromechanical cleaning can be extremely dangerous some of the dangers are entrapment, incorrect selection of machine for task and electrocution. It is therefore essential that all staff expected to use this type of equipment receive appropriate and adequate training.
This course is certified by the National Association of Drainage Contractors (N.A.D.C) and The Energy and Utilities Skills Register (EUSR).

Health and Safety within the drainage industry is of paramount importance. Trained staff will have a greater awareness and appreciation of safe Electromechanical Machine working practices with high tensile strength coils and low or high torque units.

In line with Health and Safety Laws and Acts Councils, insurance companies, water utilities and major contractors all demand that staff have the correct level of training and hold current valid Certification.

The National Association of Drainage Contractors (N.A.D.C) Electromechanical course brings all of this together.
